Baryonyx was a large fish eater.
His jaws were long and narrow and full of tiny pointed teeth.
Baryonyx had 32 teeth on each side of its jaws to catch its prey.
It probably ate fish and the flesh of dead animals.
Baryonyx had a long low crocodile-like head,
and relatively long arms, seemingly with great claws on the thumbs.
On the thumbs of his front legs was a claw 12 inches long.
Baryonyx lived in present day southern England.
He lived in the mid Cretaceous.
