Elaphrosaurus

Elaphrosaurus means "lightweight lizard"

Elaphrosaurus was 15 feet long and 5 feet tall at the hips.

He weighed 450 pounds.

Elaphrosaurus was like an ostrich.

He had light hollow bones, and

shorter arms and legs than Ornithomimus.

Elaphrosaurus was a meat eater.

He was like a cheetah, long and lean, but built for speed.

But unlike a cheetah he ran and walked on his hind legs.

Elaphrosaurus hunted small or medium sized plant eaters.

Elaphrosaurus lived in present day Tanzania, Africa,

northern Africa, and Wyoming, USA.

Elaphrosaurus lived during the late Jurassic and early Cretaceous.
