Psittacosaurus

Psittacosaurus means "parrot lizard"

Psittacosaurus was 7 feet long and 3 feet tall at the head.

He weighed 50 pounds.

Psittacosaurus was a bipedal plant eater.

He ate plants such as tough stems and fruits.

Psittacosaurus had long legs, a tail, short arms with

grasping hands, a deep parrot like beak, nostrils and eyes

high on the sides of the head, and bony "cheek horns".

Psittacosaurus walked on his hind two legs.

He lived in present day China, Mongolia, and Siberia.

Psittacosaurus lived during the early/mid Cretaceous.
